About Me

I started writing children's books because of a genuine love of reading to and interacting with my nieces and nephews through imaginative literature. There is nothing more rewarding than watching the delight in their faces and taking them through an animated journey with giggles and gasps and inciting fun in learning.

I am a fully qualified and experienced marketer. I have a degree in Communications, Culture and Media and a CIM Diploma in Marketing. I am also a Public Relations specialist having worked both in-house and agency side.

Although I don’t have any children of my own, I have a very close relationship with my nieces and nephews to which I have bought and read hundreds of children books for over the years. I believe that the time spent reading to children is a fantastic opportunity to have fun with them and help them to develop in all areas of life. Bed time reading is also a good opportunity to give them a warm and happy feeling from stories before they sleep. It is for this reason that I am very passionate about writing for this market.

I particularly like stories that help children to deal with their emotions (as this is a constant struggle), which is why I wrote and illustrated The Hippocrocodogapig - a story that encourages children to see beyond appearance and consider that everyone has feelings. It also teaches children that others are drawn to those having fun. Also that there is a friend out there for everyone.

I have many more ideas for fun picture books, so look out for more books in the near future.
